Held at Mission San Juan Capistrano, The Spirit of Old Califonia combined works from Theodore Lukits' "Fiesta Suite" with paintings of his other Hispanic subjects and a selection of the artist's plein-air pastels. This was the second significant exhibition of Lukits' works held at the Mission.
